It's been quite some time since I have posted anything here, due to Christmas, vacations and all that riff-raff.
But here is the latest photo that I worked on.
Taken during a photo-shoot with a friend of mine. Unfortunately I was only able to use a couple of photos from that photo-shoot.

Tools used:
Adobe Photoshop CS3
Adobe Lightroom 2

Here are some photos from a couple of weeks ago that I took for the concept design of a music CD (tentatively) titled "Sonhos do Meu Coração" aka. "Dreams of the Heart"
They wanted a pensive, dreamy feel for the cover, so that explains some of the 'strange' pose.
This was one of the chosen images for the cover.
Another one of the images shot for the concept art of the CD cover.
Post-processing done in Adobe Lightroom 2.
I have one or two more images which I will post when I have the time

The other day I vectorized an image that we were using as a logo for our site. Projeto Contato I can't take credit for this as it was JP's work, I simply vectorized it. I made the Illustrator file in a way so that making a flash banner would be easy.
The vectorized image is an Illustrator CS3 file. After it was vectorized, I composited it in Indesign CS3. (What can I say? I am a chained eagle to Indesign. *grin*) The largest part of the work lay in creating the Illustrator vector. And no, it isn't a "traced" image. 100% lines and curves. Enjoy!

After nearly a month, I finally finished my pet project that I have been working/brooding on.
While the total duration took nearly a month, the amount of actual work hours on it would bring it closer to a full day. The vast majority (around 60%)of the time was spent on browsing the Oracle.
The only other thing that took a significant amount of time (around 30%) was the Photoshop for a few of the spreads. The actual design side (Indesign) only took around 10% of the total time.

More information about its creation and source material can be found here.

One of the 3 year olds found this nest somewhere in the garden a few days ago, and it got put on this hedge. (Which wasn't flowering at the time)
After the hedge broke into bloom, this nest was all but forgotten till I was roaming around the house yesterday with the camera in my hand looking for something interesting to shoot, when i saw this empty nest in the middle of this colorful hedge.
Some post-processing.
I am still not happy with the color balance. I probably will work on it some more later.

Same photo-shoot as Nesting Grounds.

After a short blogger outage here in São Paulo, it has been normalized. So back to (trying to) blogging.
Following up on my commitment to fight "Photographer's Block", here are some photos I took this week.
I am quite happy the way these turned out. I was expecting them to be much worse, since I had already been eying these posts/sculptures for months already, but always put off photographing them for fear that it wouldn't come out as good as I wanted them to. Thankfully I didn't botch them up too much.
Will continue to post new pictures as they are taken and processed.

Yes, that is right, put your hands up!
Okay, now put them back down again.
Here is my latest masterpiece for those of you who haven't seen it:

Fine, it isn't a masterpiece, but it is one of my best photos so far.
You can check out, and leave comments on the DeviantART page or the Flickr one.
Any comments and critiques are more than welcome.
An excellent shot of the wonderful Gabi. This was a spontaneous capture after a more official 'photo shoot'.
Out of all of the pictures, this was the best.
Some editing, and post-processing done; mainly cropping, blurring the background, some airbrushing on the skin, and color tweaks.
